Patriotic Pastry Fun!

Hi, everyone! This weekend was the annual Constitution Day celebration. Every year, we get to deliver a cake or cupcakes to the celebration. This year, we did over 250 cupcakes! It was so cool when my mom and I delivered them. We got to check out the booths a little bit, and then deliver the cupcakes! The cupcakes were so pretty, with little red, white, and blue sprinkles! I hope we get to do this adventure in cakeland every year on out. It’s awesome!

Every Adventure is Sweet

One thing I also love about cakeland is seeing the different cakes and cupcakes my mom decorates. For example, this weekend my mom did an ADORABLE Winnie the Pooh 7 in. Baby Shower Cake.

I loved this one because I am a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh, and it was just so cute! Another one this weekend was these gender reveal cupcakes. Sometimes, the people getting the cupcakes don’t even know the gender yet, only we do! I think it’s great doing these cupcakes, they are usually cute, and people love them!

Even though a huge adventure didn’t happen this weekend, I still enjoy these small Adventures of Cakeland.

How I Spent the Last Weekend of Summer

Hi, everyone! This weekend, I had gone with my 2 brothers and dad to deliver a cake at McCann. I LOVE going there, because it’s in the middle of the woods and is peaceful and beautiful as well! My dad had to put flowers on the cake called Baby’s Breath, and the cake turned out to be gorgeous!

On Sunday, my Dad and I also got to deliver a 50th wedding anniversary cake at Above the Valley! I love the view of Penns Valley there! Since we were out, we went last minute school shopping for 7th grade which starts on Tuesday! I’m so excited! I can’t wait! This was a great weekend of some Adventures in Cakeland.

Cupcakes on the Midway!

Hi, everyone! I am so excited that Grange Fair has begun! I love all the food, rides, and games! As well, one thing we do this time of year is 1000 CUPCAKES for the fair! It takes a lot of work, but it’s amazing.

One of my favorite parts is when we have to deliver them, which means we get to drive up main street! We were in the car together as the workers made sure we could get through to Jubliee Grove, where the cupcakes would be given away. I love doing this every year, and I look forward to this cool adventure in cakeland.

Cupcake War

A few months ago, my mom volunteered to do a Cupcake War for the Bellefonte Library, and it finally arrived! My mom asked me if I wanted to go with, and of course I said yes! I love to read and write!

When the two of us arrived, we took all the supplies for the wars. The supplies were so heavy! With the help of some of the librarians, we set everything up as the kids participating arrived. Since there was only a few kids allowed, there was a waiting list, with an extra 20 kids on it! I think that is amazing! The kids were super excited to do the cupcakes!

After the wars were in full swing, I was aloud to check out the library. That place was huge! I loved it there! I got a lot of books, and I read some there too! I was so happy I was able to check out the Iibrary, and help my mom. This was an awesome Adventure in Cakeland.

A Trip to the Cupboard

Hi! This last Friday my dad, my siblings and I had to go deliver a cake to a place called Rusty Rails, in Mifflinburg. Since we had to go so far he promised us an adventure. My mom was working so he loaded us up in the “family truckster” as he calls it, otherwise known as the Tahoe! I was so excited!

After delivering the cake, it was for a wedding the next day, my dad announced we we’re heading to Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. My sister, Sophia, went here before with my dad, but I had never gone.

When we finally arrived at the restaurant, I was amazed. The place was huge!! I loved seeing the shops. Soon after, we all sat down and ordered the buffet order, which was amazing! I loved all the food, especially the Mac + Cheese. Sophia was in her glory, loves the wooden nickels! Alex was beyond excited and got the biggest plate of shredded cheese and huge bowl of ice cream. Even Elliot loved it! He must of ate 6 rolls! Of course on the way back we hit a yard sale or two and stopped at a local discount store. My dad can’t refuse a deal, lol.

I’m happy that I got to spend time with my family, while we had a great adventure in cakeland.
